At 1:00 p.m., your guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel to begin the City Tour. The experience starts in Cusco’s Main Square, where you'll visit the impressive Cathedral, a symbol of the city’s colonial history and artistic heritage. From there, you'll stroll along a charming Inca-built street leading to Qorikancha, the legendary Temple of the Sun—once the most important religious site of the Inca Empire before the Spanish conquest.
After exploring Qorikancha, the group will walk along Avenida El Sol to meet our private transportation for a 25-minute drive to the spectacular Sacsayhuamán fortress. Known for its colossal stone walls and sweeping views over Cusco, this site is one of the greatest architectural achievements of the Inca civilization.
